Pre-war Brickplayer - Kits B5 and B7
Spears' first Brickplayer kits were made in 1938. What little I know about these kits
comes from Dave Meesam, whose original brickplayer.co.uk website mentioned two kits,
numbered B5 and B7. Dave's list of models shows just five to be built with these,
of which only three could be built with Kit B5. See the
Brickplayer components page for a discussion of what was
included in these kits.
I have no instruction book or blueprints for these models, but Dave has salvaged the image below
of the lid of his Kit B5.
