This course is targeted at participants who have been on one of our earlier two-day Elicitation with SHELF courses but did not take the third day Advanced Facilitation training. It is an opportunity now to gain that extra day of immersive, small-group, hands-on training.

The Hands-on with SHELF course will begin with presentations to remind participants of key points from the Elicitation with SHELF training, with additional material based on our recent experiences. It will then follow the format of the Advanced Facilitation, with a series of elicitation exercises in which participants in the roles of facilitator and recorder must elicit judgements from a group of experts played by the course tutors. Participants will typically take part in two exercises, one as facilitator and one as recorder. However, it is also possible for two people to register together and then each take one of the two roles in one exercise.
The basic course fee is £1650 for one participant to obtain hands-on training as both facilitator and recorder. For two participants to train together the fee is £1750. Fees include refreshments and lunches.
The venue is in the centre of Sheffield, and participants wishing to stay at the Leopold will be given a code for a discounted rate. In addition to the Leopold Hotel there are several other hotels nearby.
