The course venue is the School of Mathematics and Statistics, The University of Sheffield, Hicks Building,
Hounsfield Rd, Sheffield S3 7RH. The two closest choices for accommodation are:
- The Rutland Hotel, 452 Glossop Road, Sheffield S10 2PY.
Many university visiters stay at the Rutland because of its convenience. It is clean and pleasant,
although the rooms can be small and dark.
- K-Space West
One Apartments, Fitzwilliam Street, Sheffield, S1 4JJ. These upmarket apartments are available for
a minimum stay of two nights, but are not released for bookings shorter than ten nights until about a month
in advance.
There is a good selection of hotels in the centre of Sheffield. The Mercure, Novotel, Jurys Inn and Leopold
hotels are all about fifteen to twenty minutes walk from the university.
