Course Tutor - Kate Ren
Kate is a statistician and Research Fellow in the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield. Her research interests include the use of expert knowledge elicitation in clinical trial design, and health technology assessment (HTA), and Bayesian network meta-analysis.
She is a member of the ScHARR Technology Appraisal Group, an expert review group for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), and regularly works on technology appraisals for NICE. Kate also consults for industry on the use of Bayesian evidence synthesis in HTA.
