Tony O'Hagan - SHELF: the Sheffield Elicitation Framework

Course Tutor - Peter Craig

Images/My photo Peter has been involved with elication since the mid 1990s, initially doing research on elicitation and using elicitation for oil reservoir modelling. More recently, he has been an advocate for the role of elicitation in quantifying uncertainty, as working group member and co-author of the European Food Safety Authority's draft Guidance on Uncertainty in EFSA Scientific Assessment.

Peter is Professor of Statistics at Durham University. His research is focused on methodology for quantification of uncertainty, primarily using Bayesian modelling and inference. Applications are often to food-related risk assessment.
